Hey all.
Somthing weird is happening to my smartlock system in my EF, ill explain what happened.

Last night after i got into the car i went to turn the ignition into the on position and when i did the doors locked by itself. This has never happened before.

Now this morning when i went to unlock my car, the car would not unlock with the remote, i couln't even pop the boot, so i opened the car with my key. So i put a new battery in my remote, tried it again and got nothing, the light on the remote is very bright, so there is plenty of power to the remote.
Does anyone know whats happening to the smartlock system, is it scrambled???
Your help is much appreciated.
cheers

Well search the tech document forums or search the site, the procedure to learn the remotes are like get in car with all doors shut, turn the key on then press the demister button 3 times within 5 seconds and the locks should cycle and then you press the botton on the remote.
