what sort of effect do you guys recon wider tyres (235) have over 195 stokies. just out of intrest as i recently got 235s.

litres / 100k would be great.

because of the larger diamater you might actually get better fuel efficency when crusing on the freeway, but will make city type driving worse. the brand and quality of the tires will also effect fuel consumpsion

i have 265's on the back and 235's on the front, overall rolling diameter is the same as my 15's and i never noticed a difference?

The overall diameter will not change cos the profile is relative to width. In theory fuel economy will get worse because rolling resistance has increased but I beleive it would be so miniscule as to be immeasureable.

i went from 195 to 225 and noticed no difference, well till the wet :)

I went from 205/65R15 to 235/60R15, and haven't noticed fuel consumption differences, but a big difference traction, which is great.
The overall diameter is bigger now tho.
