Not a fan of ethanol fuel myself, unless engine is designed for it, they used to use ethanol fuel in South America, many years ago and engines were hard pressed to last 50k, i'm sure technology has come a long way but i'll give it a miss, anyway if you own a V8 who cares about fuel? (ok i have lpg but still prefer not to use ethanol)

Let me just say before i never look at this thread again my El has been on ethanol (e95) for a long time and no "gay" idle or other issue has arisen.

Oh f**k, its beginning.

their cars are built for it.

hmmm he states quite clearly his car losses economy on E10

So you saying you just put the stuff, with no other changes and runs %100.

doubt it very much. Full power AFRs are different and stoich is different.
an unchanged system would not be able to fuel the car or provide the right ignition timing.

Refer my post in the E85 thread in off topic for the AFRs and BTU ratings of the fuels.

funny thing is, you're a bigger d***head about this, yet provide no information, you just rant like a winy little b**ch.

Ahahahaha!

The first post is about E10, and again you stated it destroys engines?

I said here we go again.

fairlane6970 said they "used" to use e85 in south america, i said they have been for 20 years and still do. And no s**t they are built for it.... it 85% ethanol.... they have to be.

And i will apologise for the typo, i meant e10 - e95 in the post about my EL, That was a mistake on my part, my bad. Post has been edited.

These models not built for ethanol. Don't use it. Plus, Drive did a test and found best bang for buck fuel is normal unleaded anyway.

heh.

I use what I can get, BP Ultimate all the way, but I have NO problem using Boost98.

In fact I have more confidence in the ethanol s**t than regular fuel.

PLEASE point out the part that says it kills engines.
As far as i can see the post only makes reference to a fuel economy change for the worse.

I also posted in the E85 thread as to why E85 and to a lesser extent E10 can make more power and why you HAVE to use more of it.

I also challenge you to find any thread on fordmods that i have ever said ethanol destroys engines. Fuel systems yes, engines no.

You are that blinded by it that have forgotten how to read
