Dont be afraid of the red glow, the extractors on my N/A 4L glowed on the dyno :)

Hell yeah baby well mine is hopefully going to be similar to that... or minus the turbo, Plus a Supercharger... lol

I'm assuming the heat glow is cause the airflow isn't as great as it would be on the highway?

nope purely cause there is that much bloody heat coming out of the engine. reduced airflow would contribute, but even still my mates xr6T give it a contsant solid boot on the roads and she will light up like a xmas tree in no time.. but this is bloody excessive.

Well, on the hwy you're not producing full power for a sustained period of time. Its purely from high combustion/exhaust temps and restrictions in the exhaust manifold coming from long dyno runs or multiple back-to-back runs.

i asked simon (owner) bout the engine..

they never installed it into his ute.

they build a 1000hp engine for a customer, he drove it and went "f**k that i dont want 1200hp in a ute"
