after fitting the manual to my car it got take to the drages last night and stoped the clock at 14.8 @ 94mph. this was 0.8 seconds faster than with the auto and after 5 runs 3 where 14.8s so this is as quick as it will go in current set up.

next step now is a 1521a wade cam and a cappa computer, porting is also an option but not sure if i wont to remove the head again. would it be worth while tuning it and bigger cam without porting. thanks

what suspension do you have in the car? and what was the 60foot time?

with 94mph you should be able to get a lower ET.

things like stiff lowered springs will hold you back. slopy and soft bushes in the rear end will also hold you back.

it works fine with the coil packs it just helps on the el to bump the timing up a bit for more power up top only slight tho. i will be doing this with the tune anyway.

you've got more in the car for sure, but only if you want to take the kings out.

i ran my 14.8 at 92MPH with a pretty bad 60foot time. if i took the the lowered springs and bilstiens out it should go both faster and quicker.

should pick up MPH because the wheel spin will be for a shorter distance and give me more track to build speed on.

stange then that they can't do it now? a few of them get to the townsville track and struggle to break into the 17s

and even if they could manage it. running a 14 hardly makes the whole car.

Air con? ABS? Crash test results? braking ability? Handling? the list goes on....
