judging by what you said it was probly a v6 ss mockup.
you should get vy s pretty easly since they cover the quarter mile in mid 16's.
but i find it hard to belive that a auto e-series can get a vn ss.
im not caling you a liar, im just saying if both cars are in good condition, its just not logical

im pretty sure the EL XR6's were pulling 15.3 qaurter miles stock, so i dont see how he wouldn't be able to beat a VN SS.

how much does it cost to rebuild a auto box up so there prity good like strong and quicker? cause my auto has a shift kit and it beats vn ss manuals already and it's a breeze in traffic;)

no chance in hell your getting manual vn ss'z unless your got 4.11 diff gearing with a auto. unless ofcorse their been f#*kn thrashd.
vn ss's in stock form were pulling low 15'z 0-100.
anyone whos bean in one of them will no their a weapen off the line

0 to 100 in 15 seconds?? Wow, my stock EF 6 can do it 7 seconds!

If a BTR 4 speed is in PROPER working condition, and running one of "shiftkits.com" shift kits, (and quality ATF) then it can handle big power and torque without a problem.

i have been told that the btr 's arent really up to scratch when it comes to modifying them to handle decent power, i dont like blowing up tranny's id rather build it once and do it right

el xr6 in manual ford and a perfect time maby,
lets not forget that the t5 is well suited to a 3.45 lsd.
where as his car is a auto with a 3.08 diff.
think about it logicaly, a vn ss more power, more torque, less wieght, shorter gears and two extra cylinders. you dont have to be that smart to figure out that it will be quicker then a auto ef/el
