Any one got any advice on exhaust systems for my 89 LTD.
I'm thinking of puting Luky headers, new CAT, 2 1/2" straight pipe down to the rear muffler and an new muffler.

Extractors and a 2 1/2" system would be good for performance.

Would be loud with straight pipe to the rear muffler.
I have Paccies, high flow, 2.5" with sports center muffler and 8" resonator in the back. Sounds very nice

Did your setup set you back a lot?

Um, sorta. I went about it the long way. Getting the full exhaust first then extractors added then cat added then rear muffler replaced with a resonator. But if you're smart about it you could go under $500.
I payed $100 for my pacemakers, 2nd hand, and if you talked to the exhaust shop they could mostly get a decent price for a exhaust with a sports center and a resonator, would be thinking around 350 installed.
My resonator is 8" instead of the usual 12".
