Factory stock is 172fwkw.

Roughly that is around 110-115rwkw.

I know buying aftermarket cams for them is a hard task, wanna go fast then buy an 8 and a few bolt ons.

Or spend your money on a turboed e-series

No I6 Falcon is easy to get to do 13 down the 1/4 NA. Its a fairly elite group thats in the 13's.

Can it be done? Yes. Anything can be done. Are the VCT's easy to mod? No, they do not have the option of just slapping in a cam and away you go, theres just no cam options out there worth the money.

That said though, the VCT motor has proven to be the match of a lot of cammed up I6's anyhow.

There is no cheap mod.
You do realise that no AU I6 of any kind has run a 13 second 1/4 and that the number of Falcon I6's in total (from any model) that have run a 13 second 1/4 could be counted on your fingers?

As for mid 13's.. there is only 1 Falcon I6 I know of that has done that and it sure isnt a road car. Its a pretty much dedicated race car.

If money isn't a problem stop being stingy and turbo it

Details of my car here:
www.aufalcon.com/casper

As far as the AU goes, don't expect it to be a cheap exercise. $2000 will cover the edit box and custom tuning with change for some new plugs and leads.

That should see you into the high 14's. After that it starts getting a lot more expensive.

The VCT is a heavy car, in stock form the VCT manual is a 15.7 second cruiser. The first second cut off the time is with the usual bolt ons, any more than that and you are going to have to start forking out $$$ for engine mods, diff ratio's and a strengthed clutch/gearbox.

I wouldn't of got a falcon 6 if you wanted more power because you are going to have spend alot of money to get it going fast
