A cam around 30/70 - 35/75 with about 0.500" to 0.520" lift & a double row timing chain set. Compression ratio of 10:1 & port & polish the cyl head. An XD, XE, early XF dizzy thats been modified to suit the compression ratio and bring the base timing up to 10-12dgs. Fully balance the engine. You could use Windsor V8 conrod bolts (ARP or SPS).

A 4 barrel manifold, 600cfm vac-sec Holley, a set of extractors that tuned, ie; 1 & 6 share a collector, 2 & 5, the same, 3 & 4 the same, then 3 into 1 with a 2&1/2" outlet, Pacemakers (don't know the part number).
With a 2&1/2" system. Modify the fuel pump to put out more volume or use an electric one.

This works ok with a manual with 3.23:1 diff gears.
If its an auto, about 2,800 rpm stall convertor, no more. no lower than 2,500rpm.
If its an auto use a 6 cyl C4 auto from XD or XC.

This what you wanna know?

I forgot to add roller rockers, HD pushrods, anti pump up lifters, may need a taller rocker cover to clear the roller rockers. If you can't get one, just have 2 gaskets, glued together with contact cement.
Hi-volume oil pump, engine oil cooler, V8 spec radiator, modify the lifters, if you want a bigger carby, go the 650 spreadbore Vac sec. with centre float bowls for the twisties.
Beam polish the rods and shot peen them or go for after market ones, and forged pistons ( flat tops).

Your lookin at heaps of dollars, possibly $5,000 to $8,000 depending on how much you can do.
