Havnt seen it done but there is no reason why you cant do it. Assuming your going to run a matching gearbox you will probably need some engine mounts and gearbox crossmember made up and maybe some sump mods depending on how similar the 265 sump matches up to the falcon subframe.

That would be interesting, you can extract so much grunt from a 265, a mate of mine had a charger in the early 80's running 12.8 with a single rail behind it.
I think you'll be fine with a rear cross member as the Vals ran a single rail, i think the hard part will be mounts and sump, and that's not a hard thing to get around.

i've got a mate with 265 in a XT and it goes like a shower of s**t. i'm not a big fan of crossbreeding but this car is nice.

still has the usual hemi sound when starting which i'll never get used to.

The 265 f**k fang, my VJ with one s**t all over my old XC which has a 302 Clevo with a little bit of work. I fitted an old Falcon 4 speed Borg warner single rail to it. So it'd just be a matter of getting the mounts in the XB for the engine.

are awesum people (Y) thanks heaps looks like im getin a 265 hemi now and single rail? thats even better their preti easy 2 find so thanks for your info guys
