And stop shouting. Is your caps stuck on or are you a naturally angry man?

After many hours and many dollars, I was putting on some new vacum lines and found a line going to this small black box on firewall,(with some wires hanging out of it). Disconnected this black box thing and closed of vacum line, engine now starts on Gas and Petrol as well, and runs like a brand new motor, excelent milage now on gas and haven't bought petrol for weeks. What ever is in this little black box, just makes the engine run so s**t, so hard to start, have seen many of these cars with same problems and just disconnect and clog the open vacum hose and they have all started fist kick.

sounds like your map sensor needs to be replaced.

New coilpack, new dizzy, new plugs, new gas leads, tune on petrol, got 800klms and engine cut out, all codes checked no faults on codes, compression test, fitted newBP6EY plugs, still won't start, backfiring through air pod cleaner ???
Have now spent $2000.00 on this problem so far and still not running, was running great before trip, out on open road and it just stopped and would not restart.
Coil packs that can handle dual- fuel, any help with this much appreciated. Moreton

So how come there where no code faults when it was tested? If it was backfiring through the air cleaner with wires shorting out from the ECU?
