Very good results Shugg.

Marks ITS engines are looking very good. And this is a VCT engine isn't it?

But I dont believe you gained 20rwkw from a manual conversion.

Thats just dyno BS correction factor changes.

what would you expect when you got the stage 4 kit and I got the stage 3PS kit. Wally

I actually expected you to do me in all honesty. You have 170+ on paper, I'm only mid 140s on paper. Your VCT sounds totally different to engine and alot smoother. I could notice a real induction noise today that sounded almost like a small turbo whistle, I can't hear anything over my exhaust!

As Frank said, off to the drags :)
There's also a track day on at Wakefield Park in a months time which I'm going to do my best to get my car ready for. I'll get you the details if you're interested.

Yeah,

Marks engines are built tough, and yes I have the VCT. All I can tell you about the 20rwkw from auto to manual is whats on the paper. I am really no good with the technical aspects of it all. But note, the auto (130rwkw) run was probably done in second gear, it started at 40kmph and finished at 100kmph. Perhaps if it had been done like the other two (starting at 80kmph and finishing at 180kmph) the result would have been higher and therefore narrowing the rwkw gain from auto to manual.

Thanks

Hyena,

Your 145rwkw run has to be bogus. Get down to C&V Performance in Carringbah and get her power tested again. Same machine as my results. Your still pipping me at the post, so your probably between 170 and 180, not the 145 on your last dyno readout.

Get out for another dyno run tell me when and I will come down. I will think about the draggs

Shugg mate your car should easily run a 14.5 considering that Hyena's ran a 14.44 and your only a bee's d**k behind him. That's bloody tough for an NA 6, mark's engines are great.
Wonder if he'll get stuck into the BA's, one stage 4 for me please

pipped at the post once again by the mighty Hyena... But you must admit mate, I am getting closer and closer (the nose of my car still level with your rear quarter pannel).

You nearly had ME ? You never had me. You never had your car!
It doesn't matter if you win by a second or a mile, winning is winning

hehe

nah I reckon it'd go well down the quarter and with proper timing to exclude the reaction time etc that plays a big part on the street we'd be very close. C'mon, bring it out you big girl, you know you want to :P

Something I will have to look into. Differences between the AUII XR6 and the EF Futura. Weight, Gear and Diff ratio's etc...

My stuff is all standard in that department. Don't know about Hyena. I will have to ask him if he has changed anything in that department from stock.
