only idiots go to ford for a recond. you can go to betta-built engines and get an exchange under $3000.

For 3K id rather top the b**ch up with oil once a week. f**k it Dave it not worth spending that much yet on a few leaks, especially if ya havent noticed oil stains on the concrete ie its not that bad so wait till the prob. gets worse like in 3-5yrs time

I paid $1000 at a local mech to get it done. Including port and polish

i have spoken to she who must be obeyed, and i think we will just get a stage 4 ps kit if i can find someone in perth to do it as cheap as mark does.

well i just got my car back, got a full engine reco, now mine cost me $3100... but this also included a full engine balance, race rebuild, performance pistons, a small head shave, crank grind, full cooling system overhaul, and a few things played with reguarding clutch and gearbox.

so really, $3000 is too much to pay just for an engine rebuild... when you could go for a race rebuild kit for that price...

really.....$3000 to fix some oil leaks!. it'll still cost between $1500 to $3000 for a decent rebuild, overhual, recond or what ever.

yeah ummmm it's not a rebuild or anything other than fixing 3 oil leaks.
i have the list here:
Tensioner O-ring,
Head Leaking,
Timing cover and Sump.

That's as it's written on the titan ford inspection sheet i hope someone from titan ford in Melville perth is reading all the posts from you guys that support the fact that it's just a bit too overpriced.

it's either that or drop the sub-frame off.

but in this case with the need for a timming cover gasket and head gasket removing the engine would make sence
