Hey Everybody,

I recently purchased a BA Typhoon, 6 Spd Manual,

I really want to have a good play around with it but being a convert from Holden im not sure where to start, but i really want a drive in drive out package aort of thing.

After thinking for a while ive decided I want some pretty big power, i want to have at least 350kw at the treads or more. Somewhere around the 400 mark would be ideal.

Does anyone know of any good modifications and anyhthing ESSENTIAL that has to be done to reach this and around about how much this will hurt my wallet $$$.

Also if anyone knows of any good worshops in melbourne that can do the work for me.

All advice greatly appreciated.

Thanks

350 is about the most you can do before it starts getting real expensive.

more than that, and you need to redo the bottom end as well.

For VIC based Ford tuners...

BluePower
APS
(two off the top of my head)

plenty of people have put over 350 through BA bottom ends reliably, F6 bottom end s**t in 400.
it's only an issue if your tuner is s**t.
turbo starts to run out of puff around 380-400 on pump fuel, hot side becomes too restrictive, so high flowing compressor doesn't help much.

Speak to Bluepower, or if you really want a 'package' thing try Nizpro, but you pay a premium.
Essential would be fuel system upgrade.
have a look at fordxr6turbo.com.
