a nice mandrel bent redback system should set you back about 290ish - 310ish including a tip. got to yellowpages.com, type in muffler on a map based search from your address and ring ring ring bananna phone till u get a good price.

well if you've got a showcar and need it to be spotless or wan't it to last forever, then you would get s/s. There are no performance gain and after a while, s/s can become rather brittle and won't handle bumps from speedhumps as well as milt steel would. So thats y most ppl opt for mild steel.

Yeh espescially in colder climates like in Canberra winter time kills S/S sytems they become very brittle in the cold weather

no way - should be looking at around 280 for supply and fit - where i got mine done they also shortened the hangers for the exhaust so it sits up higher and wont scrap everywhere - so just ask them to do that as well
