Hi all,

Just need a quick confirmation, but is the overhead gear on a ED and EF the same? As far as I'm aware it only changed from 3.9L to 4.0L (shims got smaller?)

A quick yay or nay would be much appreciated...

both my EDs had the later style rocker arms with the thinner lifters and shims.
i reckon you are pretty safe with it being an ED, i'm guessing that there'd be some crossover with EBI and EBIIs though, knowing Ford.

yeah all the gear that bolts down over the top of the cam...

I've never seen the thicker ones... So just checking...

EF and EL (non hybrid) are the same as ED is what I'm chasing, anyone how has had experiences with both...
