Hi Guys

Yesterday I picked up my Eb xr6 from the gear box place.
I got my Auto reconditioned and the gear box guy said he put in a exchange converter.

I noticed that around 1200rpm it has a slight vibration. While driving off the traffic lights or if i stick in in Park or Neutral and rev it up to 1200rpm the vibration is there,,, once over 1400rpm, Vibration goes away.

The gearbox is very smooth and it shifts great only for the vibration at around 1200rpm.

Does the converter need to run in? or is there a problem some where in the box or converter?

Cheers
Ebcon

Torque converter's normally have balancing weights on them. Maybe one was knocked off?

Or maybe one or more of the internal plates (baffles) have dislodged? Heavy/improper driving can cause shock loads on the converter.
