Hey ppl, as some of you might have read in the forced induction thread, some lil sk says that my twin charger set up can not be done, so i have decided to to it again,

i have a EA station wagon that got writen off with a 4lt cfi motor, and it was rebuilt 2-3 weeks before it got writen off, it was only a std rebuild i think was unsure on the details it was mums car at the time, any way it hasnt been started for 3 years, and has ceased up, just wondering what is the best way to go about getting it up and running again?

the plans are,

Rip it outta the car, and put it on an engine stand

get it freed up and moving

MPFI set up

turbo exhaust manifold

sc brakets

mount sc

belt on

pipe it all up ( pod - turbo - Tb - supercharger - intercooler - plenum )

wont be aiming for huge power 180rwkw at the very most, so i still have to look into ecu side of things

then drop it into my next car/ transplant the gear onto my next car..

im doing this engine on a budget as i still have my vl to do up.

Thanks for your help :D

just came to me that low km s/h engines aint worth much these days should i buy one of those, or even just wait and use this engine as a dummy engien to fit every thing onto and then buy a stock eb sII or a ea s pac what do u's think?

stick a big spanner on the end of the crankshaft and see if it turns. If the starter only clicks, and doesnt strain or the starter doesnt do anything, it might be that.
