Guys....

If a head has had 60 though its its life taken off it being thats an ef head, whats would be the comp ratio if standard is 9-3 - 9.4

Woudl it be 9.7-9.8

Quick question wouldn't you want to lower the comp for the blower? Or are you currently running a head with 60 thou off it and trying to work out where you're starting from? I know this hasn't been any help but I'm curious.

EF/EL pistons have 8.5cc dish
head chamber volume should be around 65cc
head gasket tickness approx 1mm...

you can work out the comp ratio from this

i calculate it at around 10.0:1

but be careful that it hasnt already had a fair bit taken off it....u can run into timing chain loosness issues if u go too far
