Quick Question - My car Idles at 600rpm is this a bad thing or is it an easy fix?

thats about right! :? lol i'd be stoked to get mine sitting on 600rpm! lol

does it hunt, or just sit there? whats your concerns?

It just sits there and starts shaking side to side, Im just worried that one day it will stall and never start again.

It looks fairly funny sitting behind it because the shocks are stuffed so it looks like its about to roll, OK slight exageration.

It never really hunts.

I was thinkinga spark or fuel prblem..........maybe ??

well their meant to idle at 650? in drive and 750 in neutral iirc...

so 600 isnt to bad.. the base idle is probably a little off.. probably wont do any harm..

on the positive side would look like you have a meaty cam under the hood :D got a good exhaust? might get nice nice noises through there :D

u all have assumed its a auto - is it?
when was the last time u had it serviced - new plugs and air/fuel filter may do wonders :roll:

Yes my Car is an Auto.

I had it properly serviced about 7 months ago

All the other stuff like oil and things, I can do myself.

I has always sat on 600rpm

I am still getting really good fuel economy

I also still get the power when I need, like it neve seems to die in the a***.
