I did this 69mm throttle body upgrade
here is the thread on AFF with all the details http://www.fordforums.com.au/showthread ... 405&page=6

With a stock car with no mod's then you may see a gain but on my Dyno Tuned Car i got a LOSS

My Car was Dyno Tuned @ 156.9rwkw back before July, 2009

This is what it started with:-

This is what it ended with after the 69mm throttle body was installed:-

That is some impressive figures you got there metasaiah I am impressed with the results 8-)
I will be keen to see 200kw out of your car, but from the sounds of it you know what to do to achieve it.

I was surprised when I saw those pictures DRHEMI and thanks for the link too :D Although you had a loss in power, the power curve with the larger TB seems to be smoother?

Yeah I had a read through fastxr results with his larger TB TROYMAN that's why I was interested in maybe going for one, not a bad gain if you can achieve it.

That's the one I was interested in as well the $220 on ebay that was all nice and shiny :D

Also had a little crack at cleaning up a spare throttle body I bought yesterday, gave it a bit of a sanding on the butterfly and inside and will halve the spindle tomorrow... will post some pics when it is done.

So had a bit of a clean up and sand of a spare the spare throttle body.... for the time that I put into it I am happy with the results thus far, here are some pictures:

Started like this:

Then edged the butterfly:

Cleaned the inside:

Gave it a sand back and polish:

Then gave it another go:

Also halved the spindle:

All I need to do now is grind down the screws and put it all back together.... for a little Saturday project I was happy with what I ended up with.
