ive got a 4ltr in my EF Mont, could anybody cast a bit of light on availability of belt drive set ups and whether or not theres any truth straight cut timing gears existing for the same

would have to be a custom made set champ nothing is offered "off the shelf"

was a blue XF years ago in perth that had a set but never got round to asking where he got them from.

the ef runs a single (serpentine) belt setup. it would require alot of custom work to setup a gilmer drive on one and would be alot more trouble than its worth...

as for the timing gears theres no such setup for the 6. its an overhead cam motor and as such has a rather lengthly timing chain to run the cam and auxilary drives..

haha thanks for the help guys,hat trick ay let me see....................................................yer heres one for you's whats the chance of finding something to sit in the passenger and shut up without all the nagging about why the bloody hell is the car going sideways,are you speeding ect,,,can you answer that for me lol
