80kph-120kph is a test that most car testing magazines seem to be including in there tests. Anyone had a chance to time there car 4 this figure as it is a very relavant time to on road performance cars.

You'd need one of the expensive G-Tech units (or a VBOX for example) to measure this accurately.

The regular (cheap ebay) G-Tech don't offer this measurement.

I just measured mine from a video I had of my dash taken a while back. Worked out to be 5.2s with a slow 2nd to 3rd shift.

Have no idea how this compares to other cars cos I have never seen 80-120's anywhere. What do the magazines get? If im to far out I might have to go try again with quicker shifts.

Monaro CV8 Z-3.9

Yeah is a 5 speed.

With a faster shift it would probably do maybe 5s flat. Also I think i recorded that video before I tuned my spark map so it would have been a few kw down. I guess mid to high 4s would be about right for a manual 4.0 with a bit of work.

That would also be consistent with the way that I get reeled in by gen3's around 100kph .
