hey ive got an xg 95 model that has developed a miss (hesitation) just off idle that is slowly getting worse. But its not there when ur higher in the revs also the plugs are very black.
Any ideas what i should do ??? Thanks |

Could be the throttle position sensor. Others to check or replace are oxygen sensor in the exhaust,temperature sensor in the thermostat and maybe leads and plugs couldn't hurt if they are due.

Yeah i changed changed the tps no difference so im going to put a new dizzy, coil, plug leads and plugs in it and ill see how that goes.

IMO i would put the gear off the bottom of your distributor onto the new dizzy to save aux shaft failure. A few members here found this to be a helpful tip.

so changed dizzy and coil no difference. Changed the inlet manifold, Fuel pump and filter its now pulling like a train again.
