When i first fitted the 977b it sounded stock and while it goes well, i wanted a tough note.

So today i was sick of the rev hang between gears, so i disconnected the faulty idle solenoid and bumped up the idle to 800rpm where it seemed to have an even idle.

Heres what it sounds like now :twisted:

Sounded nice, but really, it was hunting for idle. as opto said, there might be a vacuum leak.

Mine had that lumpy sound at the start as well, but after checking the timing and discovering I had put a gasket on the wrong way, the car is so much smoother and goes much better then before.

Though it did sound tough hehe.

phong =P~
