this may sound stupid, but when ppl are saying get a cam for that rumble. what do they mean? i thought a cam was something in the engine? :?

No matter what you do to an exhaust it wont rumble like this without a cam

well the sound coming out of your exhaust originated from the engine, seeing as the cam controls when the exhaust valves open and close, its gonna differ the sound coming out of your exhaust. (Not to mention give you good bacnk for buck power).

the cam affects the pulses of exhaust coming from the engine so it affects the sound of the exhaust

i just have a lukey exhaust cat back and its sounds decent....once i can figure out how to view the video file punktured sent me....ill be able to post it.

it doesn't sound the best because its still settling in though i suspect i didn't do the nut up tight enough so there might be a leak. still nice =D

2 1/2" diff dumper, single Lukey Ultra flow muffler, or Lukey Race muffler. If too loud, add a Lukey hot dog in front. Sorry but no other exhausts sound as good as Lukeys.

Yeah it is ... would have to be the best I6 I have heard in a while ... even sounded better than my old XG ute with 2.5" exhaust and small muffler with dumped tip.

I got Pacemaker headers, then highflow cat, 2.5" system with one Lucky race muffler.

It was OK, fairly loud, but a bit flat and dronny.

That was nutil I got a lumpy cam and Ported the head, now the sound is really growly, lumpy, and has hardly any drone.
