will be sad to see them go! I reckon the v6 will be the end of ford australia! Is a shame! Love inline 6's!

Still remember the first time i took out my ef xr with a fresh donk! Loved it!

end of the day all good things must come to an end! Wish they didn't though

ahh the glory...

i was boosting around to day in my car with an eb falcon manual im pretty sure hes was stock and im pretty sure in a drag me and him would have been neck and neck because when i was behind him we both boosted it and i was only just catching up when i hit higher rev range so my next mods are defanatly lsd with higher ratios and manual conversion

I assume by "boosting" you mean driving? This is obviously young street slang in SA plz clarify for some of the older members.

how is this a tribute to the i6, sounds more like a tribute to a bit of a nuffy.

its sort of a tribute i dunno some were in the thread people were talking about how good the manual ones are and i was clarrafying how a stock eb manual is pretty much the same power wise as my car

i love it how theres always a geek on the forums who has to pin point every body's posts and criticize it or say something about it but i bet you what i wrote was interesting because You did READ it rite?
and yeah i dint mean driving my car i meant i stuck a jet pack on my car so i can fly over all the traffic its what we do in s.a and we call it boosting geez

Boosting = turbo.

Please learn to construct a sentence.

V6s fit in a lot more engine bays than the I6. Hell, even V8s have more room.

kids.

In your shoes, Id sue your teachers if you had any ghetto bhoy.

Its not the fast and the furious on here, you dont have a turbo, stop trying to play like a grown up by terming your driving "boosting". you might as well walk around with a target painted on your @rse.

in 10 years, if you make it, you will laugh at yourself for this. honest.

But I do agree, manuals for the win in falcons. or at least better diff ratios in the autos to wake up the 6.

actually fordmods is a site for 'ford Enthusiasts' to

a. offer expertise and help to those that need it
b. show off their awesome rides

Not all people modify the outwards appearance of their car. For all anyone knows he may have a highly modified engine and drivetrain.

back ON TOPIC

my EA 3.9mpfi manual was a beast 2.5 years of the worst driving imaginable and it just kept going. I snapped every gear, did burnout around every corner and wound it off the clock several times (in my stupider days). Which resulted in a snapped axel, 4 clutchs, the clutch cable snapping and the clutch pedal falling off.

Oh and i slammed it rear first into a rock wall.

After all this though the engine and gearbox were as good as the day i brought it when i traded it in for the ba. No smoke, plenty of go and the gearbox felt like a dream had 275000 on the clock after and 215000 when i brought it
