yeha i bridge the same pins in my el

having yout timing advancede so far how will it affect fuel economy?

Your EL looks great. Mine looks exactly the same. Is yours lowered 2inch at front and 2inch rear?

I reckon mine doesnt pull as well as it did when it had standard springs? dont know what difference it could make, maybe you just get used to the power and think it used to pull harder???

in that pic its not lowered there is one in the gallery that is lowered its just whiteline "lows"

Ok, mine looked higher when stock, thats all. I have lowered mine 2inch on front and 2/5inch on rear, probably a little low, specially with standard wheels

no you dont have to advance the timing if you are using 98 octane fuels...however if u advance teh timing then you have to use the 98 octane fuels otherwise your engine will ping its guts out on 91octane fuels... :)

Are you saying that if you use 98 octane fuel, the timing is advance by itself??

If he's saying that he's wrong :P
But that's not what he's saying.
He's saying running premium on standard timing will do no harm, however running standard on drastically advanced timing CAN cause pinging.
So run premium, and advance away!

On standard timing, whats the point of running premium then??

It's like heaven.
Some people believe in it, some don't.
Personally I run premium not only so I can advance timing, but also because I've heard it's a generally cleaner burning fuel, with additives that help keep the fuel system clean.

For standard ignition timing, forget about octane - think cleaner fuel, cleaner fuel system...
