Hi Guys

Just after your advice/opinions on upgrading the throttle body on the BF. SS Inductions have a 75mm but state that stock is 70mm, does the extra 5mm actually make that big of a difference?

Are there bigger throttle bodies that can be bought? I do have a full exhaust system and will be installing a CAI to accompany the throttle body and then a tune after all mods are done so not sure if this increases the effect as well?

They are about $700 so kind of on the high side for the gains I think you get.

Just looking for advice etc or if anyone has replaced theirs

Cheers

Phil

save your money ...... & dont even go down the replacing cam path as well !! the cost dosn't justify the the power gains...

good exhaust, CAI & tune & this will get you around 170-185rwkw

Thanks very much for the info Joe. Yeah i wasn't thinking about doing anything to the cam but pretty much what you had suggested plus under drives. Is there really anything else you can do thats not too extreme, i want to do all my mods before i get the tune so i dont have to shell out and get it done twice.

Cheers

Phil
