Im just after some facts on series II (1990) EA falcons
in regards to parts being interchangeable with EB-ED (seats, doorskins, clusters ect...)
what about the piss small front speakers, its there room to fit the larger ones (what ever size they are) like the style in EB-AU and so on.
Also is anyone able to tell me what type of engines the series II had? 3.9 single point or 4.0 MPFI?

Cheer.

seats are interchangeable with EB-ED. door skins if the EA has the square lock snibs and not the thin ones. cluster yes but some EA's didn't have the tacho wire so you have to wire that in yourself. and if it's a cluster with the door sensors you have to wire those in.

with the front speakers you have to cut the door skin to put the bigger ones in. just cut the whole bigger where the grill would usually sit on the door trim and there will be room.

EA and EB series 1 has a 3.9L engine. GLi's has a CPI engine. higher series ones had MPI. EB2 MPI was standard.

EA before 30th anniversary had the 3 speed auto, after had the electronic 4 speed. hope this helped
