HI
Anyone have an opinion on fitting an aftermarket remote locking to an EB1? Was wondering how it would go with the factory door actuators. or would it be better to try and fit an EB2 setup into it.
Cheers

Hi.

An aftermarket alarm with remote central locking is the best and easiest option. It will work fine with the factory central locking motors.

If you want, you can change to aftermarket door lock motors, which is what has been done to my EB1 Wagon.

Changing to the factory smartlock system would require, complete dash harness, smartlock ECU and factory door looms etc. Then you have a factory system that is not a secure as an aftermarket setup.

Cheers
