okay so about 5 months ago i put in a new engine, because i blew the head gasket in mine the engine i put in had only done 90 000 so really good buy for $200 put it all in sweet as. about a week later this tapping noise starts sounds like it might be the flex plate but didnt look into it any more some guy said it was my 6th cyl but it didnt get any worse so that takes that out. lol thats my first problem not a bigy as its not effecting power or performance so im not really bothered. the second promblem last thursday night i was running a little low on full not dead low but the fuel light was on, so just before i get to the servo the car starts spluttering and spitting so i get to the servo fill it up and think that all my problems are over. i start the car and its still doing it , so the next day i change oil, spark plugs, leads coil pack, does nothing so then i put in new injectors and computer still nothing, get my hands on a crank angle sencer and a cam angel sence replace both still nothing compression test it all sweet. so know when i start my car its still doing the same thing just not as bad lol.

please some one help me

ps thanks if you read all that sorry about grammer and spelling im in a little bit of a rush
cheers

Not sure if you said it in that rather large sentence, but have you checked your fuel pump?

Have you recently mistreated it? as in prolonged high revving etc?

After changing all that s**t, i'd be suspect of a cracked piston or ring land. Have had this s**t happen in other motors.

Most of the time yes, but the last engine i built was due to a cracked ring land. It too still had alright compression.

The ticking could be a few things, do you have an oil pressure gauge?
