hey guys
when i put my foot down my engine makes a air blow off sound and yes can be herd fro minside then kicks in, when im going up a hill and put my foot down before the revs dies down she makes the air noise as well i have replaced my inlet and stepper motor as well, had to replace my cat as the other one was totaly rooted, dnt ever use e10, if i rev it mast 3000 rpm it sounds off as well i have checked me intake for cracks or leaks might be a vacum leak some where who nos. so please let me no as its really peeng me off

Check all your vac hoses for the air con, behind the glove box and air concontrols

would this leak cause not so good accelration,
is this a majo rproblem as its ben doing it since ive had the car been told there a 3 vac hoses on the fire wall to check as well, ive put the foot down blows off the kicks on and takes off i think ill send it in for a scan and to fix the hose +

yes it will affect driving, as the engine is able to suck un metered air through the vac lights, thus spoiling the tune.

off the line she is awesome, just when i gotta suddenly brake and get back up to speed kinds hesitates, hmm will have to get it fixed then is it a major thing or kust a lil thing to worry bout

place in jimmy witch does the fuel injetion and carby systems, 88 bucks to run a diagnostic on the throotle body and 20 bucks to fix the vacum leak if there is one wass gonna wait till i do y custom cai and extractors, might have crack on me factory exhuast pipes who nos, dosent happen every time just every now and then cheers

yeh seen him other day he think one of my 3 vac hoses which are at the fire wall r crack or stuffed
and is causing the noise same time gonna get him to run a diagnostic check up to see what temp she is running my engine has done 300 000kms on clock no oil leaks under neathe either i can get a nother au engine for 600 bucks from falcom and slowly rebuild it and drop it in

i replacd inlet gaskets and stepper motor and still blowing off
im getting my rear shocks and gearbox bush replaced on the weekend and while she is on the hoist i will grab a torch and have a tinker underneath and look at my hoses, etc if i rev in in neutral to 3000 rpm blows off and its defintaly from the engine bay, will have a look at it while on the hoist

when my ef used to back fire(on gas) it blew the hose that goies into the rocker cover off at the other end under all the inlet and that, it was just a loud sucking noise the whole time not just one big noise?

nah myn dosent backfire i had all that fixed,
she drives beautifully takes off very fast, but when i put the foot hard down suddenly she blows off and takes off, speciacly doing like 80 kms an hour but if i drop her back 1 gear i dnt get the noise myt be that the air and fuel mixture isnt right, sucking in to much air or my throttle response thingy aint working properly, leaking injector, she changes gears beautifully , have no trouble with the gear box
