Well this is try number 2 and i think as was suggested by a few on here that the mat black looks much better than gloss.this would have to improve air flow as the inside is smooth as well.what do you think.

might have a very slight advantage with a smoother airflow,, but it wont be adding "Turbo like performance though".. -looks nice on the inside... 8-)

smoothed the inside and outside by making a fibreglass mould of the air box top then made a fibreglass part out of the mould.when it was finished i made the resin smooth on the inside then painted it.was made more to match the snorkle rather than for performance

i am thinking of smoothing the inside of my airbox. Did you notice any improvement in performance?

yeah i think it is more responsive but it was made more for cosmetic reasons rather than performance.
