ok, the std pipe on mine from the airbox to the throttle body has like a rubber inner bit where it fits into the airbox, kinda like a air horn shape to it, but i noticed it is small as, surely it would be a restriction point, is there any benifit in either cutting it out or replacing the original pipe with some tubing?????????

yeh ive noticed that too. ive been thinking of a madrel bent pipe to go from the tb to the air box. hows that sound

i've been looking into making a coinversion kit to use and EF air box.
any interested??????? if there are enough people willing to buy them i'll start making them |

Yep you can actually just use the pipe from an EA, which doesn't have that smaller section.

LOL, I have trouble picking up the gain from extractors and cam let alone that.
But yeah I'm pretty sure it's a worthwhile mod in conjunction with an XH Snorkel. |

man i noticed a big difference when i put the extractors and zorst on mine.

i noticed a difference but not as much as i did on my old ed when i put genies on it i didnt notice as much difference with the jmm and k&n filter, xh snorkel, and the pipe i notice that fuel economy was slightly better and that its seemed to rev a tiny bit better

I did this to mine when it was NA... a bit bodgy but it works really well
