ok sweet,, does it matter if i get it out of an el, or does it have to be out of an ef??

EF one has 10 amps higher output than an EL one.. but no, does not matter as long as it works.

i just put in a reco alternator and its 15v when my cars idling, and when i slightly revv it, the volts goes up to 16v and a red light comes on. so i guess it wasnt the alternator. any body know what it could be??

if its a reco go back and get the cars sytem checked out,something is funny there

yer i found out it wasnt actually a reco just an alternator they pulled outta the car so i took it back and got my money back and brought a reco and its all good, problem fixed

next time go to south bridge electrics in veronica st,warilla.they recod my starter and alternator for $100-110,i put 2 in and 2 out then reco them and again,then have 2 spare recod for 2 cars.im glad you got it fixed. :D :D :D :D
