Pretty happy with that, Not running the ALTED cam yet, still have not got around to be putting that in, I'll be dyno'ing again next tuesday morning at 7:30am with the ALTED cam in it ...

My motor is a EF XR6 Motor ..

In the process of unloading video's at the moment.
Pretty happy with the result ... Once the ALTED cam is in, I'll post up those results.

is this why you were up so god dam early..
or did you do the dyno caus you were bored :P

sounds like a good result...
will cam change it at all or what?

Haha yeah, thats why i was up to bloody early!

And yup, the cam will give more RW KW

Its going to be run with the ALTED cam on tuesday

What's the reason for the 7kw difference? Tuning?

Why was the first run in 3rd and the second run in 4th??

This motor, is pretty much standard, EF XR6 /BBM EL ECU - Removed coil packs and using dizzy. i was thinking more along the lines of 130rwkw, Its got extrators, 2 1/2 straight though extaust system 3" mandrel intake piping, KW Pod filter in box,

From the wreck I picked up (EF XR6) the car out of that came into the workshop, you could tell the head had been done on it, Just from looking at it.

Looks too good to be true?

150 rwkw its a big no. from an XR6 not a stocker by a long way!

The difference in intake and atmospheric temp 15 degress to 36 degrees sort of tells me the result is a bit suspect.

starting to think this motor is not a stocko motor, But, Im not interested in dyno results unless they are from DD dyno's

all cars are strapped down for OH&S reasons..

Makes me wonder why mine came out so differently on the MDX dyno..

a few possible issues..

I know of one that has been addressed at length and will probably continue to be an issue for some time.. :wink:

yeah, its manual, and yup, it was tied down!

i would not of let it run without it being stapped down, or just with wheel choks!

Not to mention nearly 10 degree increase in intake temp between the runs (without any change to the atmospheric temperature. And yeah, 36IT vs 15AT = "free power"

Then again if the results are right your set up for a mid 14s pass
