I just degreased the engine bay the other day and normally i start the car straight afterwards but got dragged away to do something else anyway the next day i went to start it and no go damm it all, finally that arvo i got it going i think it got water in the dizzy, but at the same time i put a ef police chaser cluster in, the problem is now the alternator i think, the dash is saying its only charging 10-11 volts and with a multimeter its showing 12 volts on the battery, i had no probs with the charging prior to degreasing and fitting the new cluster. just a bit wierd, do EL alternators just normally die like this, the battery is nearly new
