hi guys, after finishing my boot install, my batt died so i replaced it about a week ago.
but the point is, the new batt is loosing volts. tested the alternator at work and came up at 13.2V.
has trouble starting and lights dim when the subs are turned up.
point im gettin at is i need to know how hard it is to replace the alternator in a i6 EL?
and quick as i need to replace it tonight if possible. thanks.

Remove air snorkel, remove thermo fans, remove belt, unplug wires behind alternator, undo bolts, remove alternator.

Installation is reverse of above.

There might be an earth cable but I am unsure, if there is just remove it. Pretty straight forward. Make sure you unplug the battery, remove if you want to. Also be careful you don't damage the radiator fins while you undo the nuts and bolts...
