The head on falcon is warped so i saw it as an opportunity change my camshaft as well i rang wade and they suggested the 1645 AU and the guy and the head shop is fitting it and dialling it in for me. Wade cams said that it would work with a standard engine and standard springs, however the guy from the head shop called and said that it has a to aggressive lift and needs head work and springs to suit another $400 or so dollars. I wanna no if this guy is trying to rip me off or did i get recomended the wrong cam

Unless the head guy has a Cam Doctor or some other accurate way of messuring the cam he would have no idea how aggressive the cam is.
If Wade says it will work with stock springs then it will work with stock springs. |

i wouldnt say your getin ripped off completely.
but my head is filled with polish stainless steel goodness the head place threw it all in gave the head a skim ,port and polish stuff for $250 cash i did all the on car labour and gathering buying parts ect myself. chuck it in have a go |

my opinion get another mech' or do it at home as the pros told ya whats best to use theyd know over a mech' and also with wade stateing fine with standard well ill be tellin that mech he can leave it lol ill take it elsewhere
 or to do the job stop tryin ta get extra $$$ and be there watchin him doin it just incase lol
