hey guys today i got my au ts50 snorkel (ba 9a624 a}
and fitted it to my el cost a grand total of $40.
took 2 minutes had to screw next to plastic hole instead of one provided.
big thanx to hwy ford maitland who got all parts delivered the same afternoon i ordered it, and for ordering 4 different snorkels for me to just decide which 1 i wanted
ps no tickford ones left listed in ford australia parts,i think it has somthing to do with licencing, plus multiple part number changes au threw the new falc
crappy photos are from my phone

would that make any difference over a EL xr6 (tickford obviously) snorkle? wouldnt have thought so?

I think the AU (and hence BA) snorkels were slightly bigger again than the E series ticky stuff.

yea! the au tickford/ba xr6t snorkle is bigger than the e series xr snorkle.
so far i think the au tickford/ ba t snorkle is the largest std one available that fits directly onto the e series airbox...
im not sure about the bf one though??

the el tickford snorkel is the same size as the au/ba snorkels, just a different shape, ive measured them... and there is nothing to be gained...

cool idea..

or you could do something similar to mine?
im using a modified upside down au snorkle under the bumper that has 2x 2" flex hoses that run up through the bottom of the airbox.
