Okay, so I've had this for a while, but now it just bugs me. It's a freeway thing too. This sound comes from the same area I get that horrible noise when I hit 120km/h +. It's when I'm slowing down from 100km/h without breaking. It's a much less severe vibration and noise, but it comes from the same place as that crazy sound I had another thread on. So, the two must be from the one and the same part. What is it boys?

Thanks.

If the rear uni joint is tight or worn it can cause the problem your having, why its worse on deceleration is cause the pinion angle changes slightly when the diff tilts resulting in more movment in the uni joint, it may not do it if you put it in nuetral as there isnt any load on the drive line.
