heard somewhere that the F6's have a second air intake from possible under the headlight. does any know if this is true? if so how much for part, etc?

The V8 BA's also have one under the headlight. I've got one on my XT.

ive got one fitted to my xr6 mark 2
made a big difference about 10 kilowatts at the back wheels
plus i fitted a K&n flat panel filter as well

check out the thread on dyno guess on a ba xr6 if you want more info

about $80 from your ford dealer ,not all dealers can get them if you are in vict ry citiford thats where I got mine from.

they come stock on the BF XR6Ts. $85 when i asked a couple of weeks ago.

Hate to burst ur bubble mate but they dont come stock on bf xr6turbos . . . . i own one and i dont have it . . . . ask brett4777 he has seen my ute and i have seen his xr6. He has one i dont . . . note to fm modders . . i have seen bretts dyno read out . . very impressive for a kn and typhoon intake 10kw indeed.

guys try closer to $150 for the complete lower air box
and 2nd cold air intake

i work for a ford dealer so i get good prices

also look on ebay under Bayford spare parts
they sell a few on ebay

not much to see just liike the normal air box with a little induction pipe, pointing towards the bottom of the headlight...

Yep, the Typhers has a dual intake into the the airbox. One from under the car, the other from the front, near the grille. And yes, I have heard that retro fitting this set-up to the Turbs gives a good power gain...
