Downingj... I think I spelt his name correct, has/had one in his car, he loves it, I think from memory he was getting with a few other small mods around the 150rwkw plus mark, Im getting 144 rwkw's with a Dev3 streetfighter cam, plus some small mods also.. theyre good cams, expensive tho... ... 8-)

downingj had a dev3hl im pretty sure.
Ive been in a few cars with dev5s, and driven one, no AUs but.
I didn't think the AUs were a fan of cams without a tune?
They are a pretty safe bet cam wise, well proven.

i am running a dev5 head and a dev5a cam. i had to up my base idle a bit so it didnt stall ( auto ) and i end up having to put a switch on the ics to switch it off when the car warmed up to stop the car hunting at idle, but it is drivable with the hunting i just got the s**t with it sitting peak hour traffic every day.

power wise i never had it dynoed and now it is currently off the road to fix an oil leaks and timing cover and guides, but when it was running it was slightly slower then stock between 1000-2000rpm but past that it started pulling and really took off after 3000rpm

bucko

Idle quality is quite good on the Dev3's, from what I heard theyre not much different in the Dev5's, going by "Mr Mocks" advice that is, as I was interested at one stage in putting a Dev5 in, I put in Crows double springs, with HM headers, a Vernier, mild head work, and admittedly they do go very well.

Get a quote first on what your going to get done on the motor, because naturally one thing brings on the other, so in the end you may find yourself spending a bit of money, depending, but a Dev3 cam will also allow you to have a Turbo or supercharger later, if you decide to go that way. 8-)
