just wondering if all bbm's are the same?

im looking to fit one soon, but i wanted to know it there was a difference fitting say EF bbm to eb than AU bbm to eb?

The lower part is identical from EF to AU the upper is different between EF to EL and from EL to AU. The EF/L difference is the EL has 2 mounting points for the intake tubing. The AU has the IAT and MAP sensor combined into one unit and mounted directly on the upper section.

If it going on an EB then EF or EL is the easiest. Performance wise all would be the same.

sweet, just while were on the topic, roughly how much would i be looking at for an ef/el manual ecu?

You will need an EL but it is not essential to change it for the BBM nor does the ECU need to be specifically a manual ECU. Do a search on the Forum for BBM Conversion and Manual ECU, there is plenty of discussion on this conversion subject.

yeah ive read them before, but it just sort of dodgy, and from what ive read the ecu is a better option over the rev switch
