Hello i am just wonderign if anyone knows if the AU and Ba 4 litre are the same in the bottom end of the motor like same conrods and bore sizes etc?

differant mate there connot be swapped. if u wont a ba head buy the whole motor plus ecu loom and body control module.

Afaik the rods and pistons will change over..

hasnt the bore dimensions been the same for all falcon six's, even pre crossflows? i

ps. i wasnt implying that all heads are interchangable either!!!, its just something i think i heard somewhere and wanted to know

Its cool i was only after the info on the pistons and conrods. Im not looking at swapping the head or anything just need stronger the pistons and conrods.

It was the mains that was increased on AU series..

Ok so the same upgrade pistons and conrods u get for the BA xr6 turbo motor can be used inthe AU 4 litre motor with no changes or anything?
