Not much.
Aftermarket ECU, multiangle valve cut, mild cam, and a balanced bottom end.
They are probably making in the vicinity of 160rwkw.
It's a myth that they are high revving 200+rwkw NA monsters.

Smiley, its an entry level national racing series, they are pretty quick for what they are.

the vt might have had the 3.73 as a factory option on the S. that would make it legal to put on, but would effect top end speed. as we have seen the fords own the saloon car series, the commies might as well not even turn up.

I believe its a better series than supercars to find which is the better car. at least they have to run the engine they came out with. v8's are to heavily moddified to be a good indicator of engineering quality.

yeah it fair sucks. bring back the days of race on sunday sell on monday. the way it was. might make ford produce a decent factory v8. the boss 290 is just not up to scratch with its competition. Might also make the GT shed a few kilos too.

Last year the commentators said the Falcon are handicapped on purpose because of the huge domination in the saloon car series. Maybe they have allowed the Commo's shorter diff gearing and lumbered the Fords with ballast. They are still dominating tho, lol.
