Hey guys got a mate with an EA with a manual conversion in it! we were thinking about putting an AU engine in it, just woundering whats invloved like would we need new ECU, and would it bolt straight in? plans are to use his extractors on there now if they bolt up? then just get a cam regrind and that should get it moving abit better. Would VCT be the way to go? and not sure on the T5 in there now but would that bolt straight up to the engine?

AU engine will fit.
Easiest way to get it running is to change everything over from your EA,
Intake Exhaust Belt Setup Power steering air con the lot.
You will also have to convert the coil packs to dizzy,
The T5 should bolt up you might need to get a new flywheel as the EA one is probably a 3 Bolt, best to use a 6 bolt. The Bell housing will be fine just the bottom bolts will not line up.

ahhh yes was just reading threw that!! thanks guys, just on a quick note why do people not run the au ecu? wouldnt that be easyer?
