lately my au has been idleing like s**t,(getting worse by the day).
the thing is it dosent always happen, just happens randomly.
ild be slowing down and the revs will just drop for no reason, kind of the same thing it does when you switch a/c on in a stationary position.
ive just serviced the car and theres been no diffrence, cleaned the throtlle body, new fuel filter and no diffrence. then changed the cat, no diffrence. had a machanic play aorund with the idle controller, and still no diffrence. the car isnt running rich and is still giving superb fuel econ.
any ideas anyone??? its driving me nuts

exhaust leak maybe? im just taking a stab....if not reset the ECU and see how that goes. maybe the ISC is stuffed and you need a new one.

Either that or faulty ... it's a common replacement item as they can start playing up over time.

Check fuel return line hasn't been crushed.

Could also be s**t in tank or pump filter collapsing.

Grumbles
