G'day guys
I have been searching and reading s**t of info over the last few days about engine transplants trying to come up with the simplest (worthwhile) conversion. I think I have read too much and now getting to the point where I cant make a choice.I have narrowed it down to the following 2 choices, which one of these 2 would be the better option.

EB91

1. AU motor / Bellhousing - EB T5 box- EL BBM - EL Loom - EL ECU
2. AU motor / Bellhousing - EB T5 box- EB intake - EB loom - EB ECU

Is there much real noticeable difference between EB multipoint intake and BBM's ?
Cheers

or you can also go au motor with the el bbm, eb loom,el ecu, with slight mods to the manifold loom and the addition of a couple of wires

We just did this too. AU motor, AU bellhousing (EB BH would be just as good), EL BBM, EL Tickford ECU, 300kPa regulator...no chip, 1/4 mile runs 14.7.

Its too much of a hassle to change to EL loom. All you need is to run a few wires (for BB solenoid , and thermo fans) from the engine bay and connect them to the appropriate pins on the computer plug. Should be links if you do a search. The eb BH fits fine, its just that the lower 2 bolts dont fit. For the BB you will also need to get the vac solenoid. It is located under the panel just above the washer bottle in EF EL models. the whole thing is pretty easy once you get started so dont be put off. you need to gring a small amount (a few mm) of metal off the front web of the AU sump, this can even be done with a file. see ya
